Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Chatspero (“Chatspero”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit chatspero.com or enquire about our WhatsApp Business API platform. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the website or submit personal information to us.

1. Who we are

Chatspero operates the website chatspero.com and provides businesses with access to the WhatsApp Business API as an official Meta Business Solution Provider. We help businesses send campaigns, payment reminders, invoices, and other customer communication on WhatsApp, and track delivery and engagement.

For privacy questions or requests, contact us through the form on chatspero.com. We will use the details you provide there to respond.

2. Scope

This policy covers information collected through our marketing website and contact form. If you become a customer, additional terms and processing details may apply to the Chatspero platform, including data you upload (such as customer contacts and message templates) in order to send WhatsApp messages.

WhatsApp is a service of Meta. Message delivery on WhatsApp is also subject to Meta’s terms and privacy practices, which we do not control.

3. Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us and limited technical information created when you use the site.

  • Contact form: name, business email, phone number, company name, optional WhatsApp use case, company size, and business website URL.
  • Communications: any follow-up messages you send us about your enquiry.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring URL, collected automatically by the hosting environment as needed to operate and secure the site.
  • If you use the Chatspero platform: customer contact lists, templates, campaign settings, and delivery events (sent, delivered, read, failed) that are required to provide the service.

4. How we use information

We use personal information only for the purposes below.

  • To respond to enquiries and help you get started with WhatsApp Business API access.
  • To set up and operate the service you request, including sending messages you authorise and showing delivery status.
  • To maintain, secure, and improve the website and platform.
  • To comply with law, Meta policies, and lawful requests from authorities.
  • To communicate service updates, where we have a legitimate reason or your consent.

5. WhatsApp, Meta, and your customers

When you send WhatsApp messages through Chatspero, message content, destination numbers, and related delivery data are processed so the messages can be submitted to WhatsApp. Meta may process that data under its own policies.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact the people on your lists, for using approved templates where required, and for honouring opt-out and WhatsApp user preferences. Do not upload contacts or content you are not allowed to use.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when needed to provide the service or as required by law.

  • Meta / WhatsApp, to deliver messages you send.
  • Infrastructure and form-processing providers that host the website or receive contact-form submissions, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
  • Professional advisers or authorities where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or legal obligations.

7. Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and record-keeping. Platform data is kept for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide history, security, and legal compliance. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required, unless a longer period is required by law.

8. Security

We use organisational and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the data, including access controls and encrypted connections to the website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You should use strong credentials for any account we issue and limit access to your workspace.

9. Cookies

The website may use essential cookies or similar storage needed for security, load balancing, and basic site function. We do not use advertising cookies on this site. If we add optional analytics later, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.

10. Your rights

Depending on applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies), you may have the right to access, correct, or erase personal information we hold, to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and to raise a complaint with a competent authority. To make a request, use the contact form on chatspero.com and describe what you need. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

11. Children

Chatspero is intended for businesses, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International processing

Information may be processed in India and in other countries where our hosting or service providers operate. Where we transfer personal data, we take steps required by applicable law to protect it.

13. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.

14. Contact

For privacy requests, use the contact form at chatspero.com. Include “Privacy request” in your message so we can route it correctly.
